    Ingredients

    • green plantains (3 unit)
    • water (1 1/2 cup)
    • vegetable oil (2 cups)
    • salt (1 tsp)

    Preparation mode

    Peel plantain and cut them into 1" thick and put in the skillet with cold  oil. Cook until they begin to golden. Remove of oil and place on absorbent paper. Fold other paper over slices pound flat with the palm of the hand, Dip in salted water and cook for a second time in hot oil until golden. Serve hot.
