    Ingredients

    • nutmeg (1/2 tsp)
    • flour - all purpose (4 cups)
    • baking powder (4 tbsp)
    • salt (1/2 tsp)
    • cinnamon (1/2 tsp)
    • eggs (2)
    • butter (2 tbsp)
    • sugar, granulated (1 cup)
    • milk (1 cup)

    Preparation mode

    In a medium bowl sift flour, baking powder,salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.

    Beat eggs with sugar and melted butter. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients alternately with milk.

    On a flat surface roll out the dough with a rolling pin until you have a quarter inch thick.Cut the doughnuts.

    Deep fry them in oil hot about 3 minutes. When you throw in the oil sink to the bottom and  then rise. Turn it over so they are browned on both sides. Drain on paper towel.

    At fry do not put many at a time,  only those that can fry the other side but no on top of each other.
