    Ingredients

    • butter (1/2 cup)
    • corn syrup light (1 cup)
    • sugar, granulated (3/4 cup)
    • eggs (4)
    • brown sugar (1/4 cup)
    • vanilla (1 tsp)
    • salt (1/4 tsp.)
    • pecans (1 cup)
    • refrigerate piecrusts (1/2 pkg)

    Preparation mode

    Fit pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate according to package directions; fold edges under, and crimp.
    Beat eggs and next 5 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Stir in chopped pecans; pour into prepared piecrust. Arrange pecan halves on top.

    Bake at 350oF for 50 minutes, shielding edges with aluminum foil after 30 minutes to prevent excessive browning.
