    Ingredients

    • white rice (1pound)
    • salt (taste)
    • butter (1/4 pound)
    • jalapeno slices (2)
    • garlic clove (3)
    • onions (1medium)
    • Chesse Jack Monterrey (1pack)
    • Green chiles mild (1 can)
    • chicken broth (2 can)
    • whipping cream (8 ounces)

    Preparation mode

    Preheat oven to 350oF Coat a 9 x 13 inch pan with cooking spray.

    Cut cheese in rectangle no to wide, and cut the green chilis the same way, make a sandwich with two slices of cheese and one slice of chili in the midle.

    Chop onions and jalapeno in small pieces, crush galic, saute all this in a casserole with butter. Add washed rice, salt and chicken broth, bring to boil in medium heat stirring constantelly until dry.

    Pour into prepared baking dish half the rice, put all sandwish over the rice. Cover with remaining rice and pour slowly whipping cream.

    Bake 45 minutes.
