    Ingredients

    • onions (1 medium)
    • garlic cloves (4)
    • poultry seasoning (1/2 tsp)
    • butter (3 tbsp)
    • scallions (4)
    • salt (taste)
    • chicken broth (4 cups)
    • Rice (3 cups)

    Preparation mode

    Chop a onion very finely and minceĀ  the garlic. In a frying pan, melt butter and over a low heat, saute the onions and garlic for 3 - 4 minutes. Put the rice in a Food Steamer and add the necessary amount of chicken broth. Add poultry seasoningĀ  and pour the contents of the frying pan into the rice pot, cover and press the switch.

    While the rice is cooking, mince 4 scallions and when the chime rings, remove the lid and stir in the scallions.

    Serve warm.
