Preheat oven to 350 oF. Spread butter
and flour in a pan of 9 ".
Beat the yolks with 3/ 4 of the sugar
until light in color and twice the volume. Stir the milk, vanilla, flour and baking powder.
Pour into prepared pan. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until cake tester inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes. Peel off the edge of the cake with a knife before removing from pan. Cool cake completely.
Place the cake on a serving bowl. Use a knife to the
flesh of two teeth to puncture
the surface of the cake
