    Ingredients

    • eggs (5)
    • Brown sugar (1 cup)
    • milk (1/3 cup)
    • flour - all purpose (1 cup)
    • baking powder (1½ tsp)
    • condensaded milk (1 can)
    • evaporate milk (12 onz)
    • whipping cream (1 pint)
    • maraschino cherries (5 onz)

    Preparation mode

    Preheat oven to 350 oF. Spread butter and flour in a pan of 9 ".

    Beat the yolks with 3/ 4 of the sugar until light in color and twice the volume. Stir the milk, vanilla, flour and baking powder.
    In a small bowl beat egg whites until soft peaks form, gradually add remaining sugar.
    Beat until stiff but not dry. Add whites into yolk mixture.

    Pour into prepared pan. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until cake tester inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes. Peel off the edge of the cake with a knife before removing from pan. Cool cake completely.

    Place the cake on a serving bowl. Use a knife to the flesh of two teeth to puncture the surface of the cake

    Mix condensed milk, evaporated milk and 1/4 cup of the whipped cream. Measure one cup of milk mixture, cover and refrigerate.
    Slowly pour the remaining milk mixture over the cake until absorbed.
    Beat the remaining cream until hard and with consistency to spread.Cover the cake with whipped cream and garnish with cherries. Refrigerate.
